Felicia A. Rumph
Accepting New Clients!
My Story
With more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health and medical social work, Felicia brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. Her professional background spans inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings, where she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Felicia believes that meaningful healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, exploring challenges, and working toward positive change.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Felicia incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and strengthen their ability to navigate life's difficulties.
Felicia has experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, ADHD, anger management concerns, substance use disorders, prenatal and postpartum depression, and significant life transitions. Her background in medical social work also provides valuable insight into the emotional and psychological challenges associated with chronic illness, terminal diagnoses, and complex healthcare needs.
Recognizing that each person's experiences and circumstances are unique, Felicia tailors treatment to meet clients where they are while helping them identify their strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful, achievable goals.
Felicia is passionate about empowering individuals and families to develop greater self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting positive changes in their lives. Her goal is to ensure that every client feels heard, supported, and respected throughout the therapeutic process.
