My Story

Markia Spriggs is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA) with over a decade of experience in mental health and client care. She specializes in providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients navigating trauma, substance use disorders, and mood-related challenges.

Markia holds a Master of Social Work from Walden University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Amridge University. Her clinical practice is rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, with a strong focus on fostering emotional stability, resilience, and personal growth.

She has extensive experience conducting comprehensive assessments, developing person-centered treatment plans, and facilitating therapy in both outpatient and group settings. Markia is skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, client-centered care. Her professional background also includes working with diverse populations in education, crisis intervention, and substance use recovery programs.
